Exclamation Fudruckers has nothing on this burger!

    Check out the 6-pound burger!!

Where's the beef? It's at a Pennsylvania pub that serves the world's biggest burger - weighing in at NINE lip-smacking pounds!

That's no whopper - you can actually get this meat monster for $23.95, load with all the "fixins"...
    • Two whole tomatoes
    • A half-head of lettuce
    • 12 slices of American cheese
    • A full cup of peppers
    • Two entire onions
    • Plus, a river a mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard

Denny's Beer Barrel Pub is renown for its 6 lb. burgers. National and local newspapers have reviewed the burger and its main appeal seems to be...

    NO ONE HAS FINISHED IT!!

Good idea dude! I hadn't thought about that, though it is a bit far to travel for a burger.

I wonder if you have to call ahead when you order one of those burgers...

    Nope, I meant 1.5 lbs!

Burgers are usually described in how much meat they have ("Quarter Pounder", "Half pound burger", etc.), not by how much the bun, veggies, and condiments weigh as well
    And closer...

Yeah, but it's probably precooked wait. That means that the burger was probably measuring in at a measly 7 and something pounds. If I want a wuss burger, I'll eat at my sisters.

I wonder how dry/overdone the outside of that burger gets before you get the inside cooked enough to be safe?

I was wondering the same thing, Kim. I'm guessing that they grill it for a bit and then put it in the oven to finish cooking the center.

That must be it. Plus, it would be a bugger to flip without breaking it. (at least for me, I'm kinda challenged that way )

I thought that the "6 pound burger" would follow suit with all the other restaurants with burgers that have the asterisk below:

    "*precooked net weight"

which would mean this thing is LESS than 6 lbs

no biggie, it's just a fricken huge cheeseburger
    And closer...
