    Bah, I'm going on strike!

If the grocery store workers can, so can I! Someone else can make and clean up dinner tonight.

I'm tired and my head hurts from studying. All of you youngsters are smart to go to school while you are young. I think once you reach 30, new facts take twice as long to penetrate your brain as the used to. Or, maybe it's all the interuptions that happen the second the books come out? Mom, I need a snack. Mom, can you read to me for a minute? Mom, Ashley is looking at me. ACK! How do you students concentrate?

They don't. That's why you always hear about cramming in the middle of the night.

I use all of my anger to fuel my work, the Dark Side is most powerful. Yeah, kids get annoying, I have a 1 brother and sister apiece. Blech.

Right now I am just taking a medical terminology course. I figured I'd better start slow. I'm not sure if I'll go for my LPN, or something in the office, possibly medical coding. Too many decisions for my old feeble mind.

Just do what a lot of us do. Go to class, bring your laptop, look at forums.

While studying: Pull out computer. look at forums.

Day before test, lock self in room with light, water, and crackers, and study butt off.

    Find your zone.
When I started studying, I thought studying when the kids did theirs would be a good idea, you know, the one big study session. Nope. That's when they want to talk about their day and ask questions and ask for snack. So, I got other things done then and then after dinner and when they were watching 30 min of TV before bed or what ever after supper -- when they were playing and didn't need that (and when Dad is more likely to be able to function and help ) I was able to study more.

GL Kim! I will be back into school in the summer!

Or you could try burning the book and drink the ash. You know the book inside out that way.
