San Diegans! Pat & Oscar's: 'Have A Meal On Us'

    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...o_kgtv/1842518

Pat & Oscar's will be apologizing to San Diego this weekend for the recent E. coli outbreak.

As a way of thanking San Diego for its support, Pat & Oscar's is offering free meals -- salad, pizza and breadsticks -- to all dine-in guests over a three-day period: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23-25.

The outbreak of E. coli poisoning has sickened at least 37 people in San Diego County. The County Health Department said the victims became ill after eating salads at some of the Pat & Oscar's restaurants in San Diego.

The restaurant has since fired the lettuce supplier and added more guidelines to oversee salad preparation in their kitchens.

Holy smokes that's awesome! Pat & Oscar's! Shoot I'll brave the e.coli scare for their food. Even their breadsticks alone would be worth it. [homer] mmm, breadsticks. [/homer]

There might be one hell of a line. We normally get 1/2 off there anyway, but free is better than 1/2 price anyday. (before anyone asks my sister works there so its a family member perk)

    their breaststicks are the best

if u bring 3-5 ppl, u get a whole pizza, salads and 12 breasticks that serve 3-5 ppl,

but if go there alone, u get a mini pizza, salad and 2 breasticks

Went there at 8pm with some buddies... place closes at 9pm... but they wouldn't let us in. They told us they had a [estimated] 90-minute line already going inside, and that they were closing the doors early because there would be no way for us to get served. Oh well there's always Friday and Saturday.

My sister really wanted to go, even though she works there, so we went there at about 6:30 pm. There was a line stretching all the way around the building. There was NO way that we were going to wait that long for mediocre food so we left and went to Islands. My sister wouldnt stop complaining for an hour. Sometimes you have to hate the single mindedness of the mentally retarded...especially when ger "boyfriend" was going to be there.
