Damn I just started upgrading my system so I bought an AMD thunderbird 800, not too bad and quite affordable, 250. But then a few days later I go and read a quote from AMD

"AMD will be cutting prices in their entire line of processors, they cut should be taking place on August 14th:
    The 1GHz Thunderbird will cost $470, the 950MHz Athlon Thunderbird $350, the 900MHz chip $275, the 800MHz processor $185, the 750MHz Athlon $165 and the 700MHz Thunderbird $145."

AHHH suckage, if the 1ghz would have been that cheap a while ago I would have definately gotten that. But instead I am sitting here with an unused 800 cause my case hasn't arrived yet, on back order damn.... I wonder if I can return it and then just buy the 1ghz... hmmm.
