why are the people with 100 posts and the poeple with 1000 posts both considered senior members? when you rack up 1000 you should be a jedi master or something. and i dont think you should be a senior member until you reach something like 250 (which actually knocks me out). i think this forum has taken off in a way that was totally unexpected, so its time for Apex to step up and bring the forums up to date.

I actually agree. 100 is almost nothing. Some people can do that in a day! That doesn't make them seniors by any stretch of the imagination. Didn't prominx do like 240 in one day?

The UBB program only has two levels of coolness. Hopefully the creators of the program have noticed that and fixed the program accordingly for the next release.

you've got to be kidding me....are you people actually upset about this. That is the most unnecessart thing to talk about. Who cares, get a life, you obviously have way too much time on your hands to 1)Post 100 a day 2) discuss this ad nauseum

So you guys want me to bump the senior member rating up to 250 posts?

I haven't really been customizing UBB, because we were talking about transferring over to Fusetalk. UBB's CGI is totally sucking up all the processing power of our server.

Actually, I think we're talking about having more levels, like 500 posts = Addict, 1000 posts = Maniac

    Or something like that.

Now... fusetalk... That's the one anandtech uses?

hehe fusetalk is a fun forum system but i like the simplicity this ubb has and it also can fool some of my co-workers into thinking i am actually working heehee

it doesnt really matter if we lose our posts. the people with a lot will just continue to write a lot and build up their #'s. and it's not like this is a huge issue, it would just be cool to see some separation between the maniacs and the newbies and whatever is in between.

For the love of god, Leon, for the new forums, TURN OFF THE BLOODY FLOOD CONTROL. I cannot think of anything that makes me crazier than that stupid feature, an annoyance that is really protecting against no-one...

yeah, i dont think flood control is going to stop someone with 1000 posts from posting whatever it is they have to say. i dont think anything can keep some of us here from posting our thoughts, if we were actually all hanging out together it would be a disaster, noone would shut up.

You know, I've always wished that flood control existed in some conversations I have had with people, or rather conversations people have had at me.

I must ask...what's the difference between senior memeber and a newbie besides amount of posts. Do they have special privileges or something? Also to those managing this site, if you think that by changing programs to handle the messages we will benefit from it, GO FOR IT. There will always be people who grumble and moan, from the taken away short term benefit and realize any evolution in advantages of the new program your thinking about. This happens all the time, in gaming design, web page design, and places like battlenet, or mplayer...anyways you can always trust your judgement if you always keep focus to what you originally intended.

There's no difference between senior and regular member status. We just enjoy being self imporant more than you newbies

which is EXACTLY why, penny, that you're inferior to me...

WOW!!!!!!! A memeber with over one THOUSAND posts in 3 months has no doubt gotta be a true SENIOR MEMBER. If you underestimate to 1000 in a period of 3 months. That's about 11 every day. That's crazy! What do u think of saying in 11 posts? Do you do a post for each word of your sentence? I'm just kidding, but seriously...that's allot, and it has a cool BMW sign too. Anyways....keep on posting man, i wanna see how far u go. One other question...what's the highest amount of posts someone has made, and was it unintentional or was it to set a record or be the highest. It'd really cool if it was unintentional...just curious. Oh yeah just had to add, i don't care if you mathematical wizzes try to correct my poor math skillz...it's still allot.
