I just check out Toyota's offical website. In the press section, GS430 will not have 330 horsepower but instead remaining in 300. The torque increases to 325@3400. The improvement isn't great enough to push it from GS400 to GS430. With some tweak and fix up, I was hoping to forget M5. <sigh>

*sniff* *sniff* MMM, I smell beer and bratwursts. Heh, what can I say. German cars are just great.

Toyota didn't give out the reason why they back up the engine from 330 to 300. That's a 10% decrease! Guess I'll have to find an ECU, do some exhaust change, add an air filter, intake, and etc. See how far I can push it. Oops.... I should haven't posted this in the auto section.

It was probably a marketing choice. If they released it at 330, that engine was probably nearly maxed out. Drop it to 300, after a few years sales drop then release the 330 hp model. . . sales get revied. All has to do with Toyota or any car manufacturer for that fact, that wants to make a buck or yen in this case.

Probably but I'm still a bit disappointed by the fact they will remain the same. If they didn't change the name from 400 to 430, I'd not be upset. But in fact 430 will accelerate slower than 400 'cause it's heavier that I couldn't accept. Perhaps I really should stick with BMW.
