i know the feeling....at least you have nice chairs. sleeping at school is even worse.

Mr. LionO: get a sleeping bag and leave it at the office. Uh..as long as U're not in a cubicle, hehe...that would kinda look funny when your co-workers mosey on over. Or get a kewl *ss desk that converts into a bed ala that episode with George Costanza's on Seinfeld!
Mr. Hapoo: HUH??? Your vacuum takes a nap off the chair?? or is it your vacuum that only dispends diet drinks??? LOL

Yeah that whole Staples thing really sucks. I tried to order all of those things, but their system is lagging, and by the time they figured out they didn't have the keyboard and mouse in stock, it had been over a day and a half of me waiting. They opted to just send me the office supplies and attache case for free, which I really can't complain about, although I really really want the keyboard. Argh.

Reinstalling Win 2000 because simply switching the old BX motherboard out for a AP 133A would not let it boot up.

well i was trying to set up a firewall and after working on it i finally have basic functions up, but it still sucks.

Aight this happened bout a week ago... ugh but it still sux.
-Got a karaoke DVD so I can sing on my puter
-tracks 13~17 wouldn't play on my Pioneer DVD-114.
-upgraded the drive firmware.
>disabled my Promise Ultra66 IDE RAID setup.
-enabled it again finally.
>disabled my onbard SCSI, channel 2.
-enabled it again finally.
>disabled my Hollywood+ DVD decoder card
-took out the card
>windows boots up finally, but no card, so reinstalled windows
>put in the card, finally everything works.

Update:
Site will be up in 15-20 minutes (about 3pm pacific). If you still have problems, I think you can place your order over the phone at that time. Shhh... I wouldn't tell too many people though.

SUXNESS...
1) WIN2K. installed over WinNT, NTSF... all fine until final startup. freezed up like there was no tomorrow.... then i thought, "let's wipe it out and do it on Fat32!"... same bugger problem. regressing to Win98... grrrr... gettin' all excited about win2k too...
2) so here i am alllll happy about upgrading my ancient thing (P2-233) up to a half-way decent machine (P3-533b... only $259 @ fry's)... click, click, click... everything's all in and ready to go. fire it up. followed all the directions. looks like it's gonna do fine. and then it hangs like i've got another 200 years in my life... after almost 15 minutes, win98 finishes booting... hafta call tech support... grrrrRRR!
okay, that's it for right now... heck, i might add some more later.

that's why California is so great. The weathermen have been bantering about chances of rain, but all I've seen are scattered clouds. that doesn't suck, but the lack of seasons does.

i'm with speedracer on this one. california kicks ass. and about the lack of season, hey you want snow go to big bear, mountain high, etc, you want sun go just about anywhere in southern cali. but i must say it would be nice to wake up in the morning one day to find everywhere covered in snow 
and thats only good for a week, afterwards its a pain in the ass.

don't you know it, but driving to the mountains can be so tedious even if you drive fast on those narrow winding roads.
don't get me wrong, the cold can be bad. my family used to live in chicago, and we have a picture of the four of us in front of a iced lighthouse at lake michigan. the wind was so bad that it sprayed water on the freezing metal.

it's 12:30pm in LA. it's raining. i went to class with sandals and a t-shirt (w/other clothes too, of course)... BRRR! it's FREEEZING! :eek

My mom submitted a request for a refund in January. We gave the ticket desk the unused ticket and etc. She told us that NWA would contact us at the latest of two months, it mid April and not even a note!!! Northwest Airline in flight service sucks too. I'd rather pay a few hundred more dollars than deal with them!!!
