NSS: Coming "work" schedule

I had some vacation days I had to use-or-lose by the end of the year. So after taking three of them this week (to give me the whole week off), this is how the coming month looks: two 4-day work weeks (Fridays off), then a 3-day week (Thurs/Fri off), then a 2-day week (Mon/Tues, then the year-end shutdown starts), then a 0-day work week. Ahhh, that's a schedule I can live with.

January 5 will be a hard dose of reality, I'm afraid.

And which defense contractor do you work for? Every other Friday off is something that either some government workers get or some defense contractors.


Sounds like a NGC or TRW schedule to me.

No defense contractor. Not even a publicly held company. I'm just using up my vacation days. The year after next, I'll earning 4 weeks. Yippee!
