Need to use the quadratic formula?

I'm teaching reaction equilibrium next week, and most of my students have a lot of trouble with the quadratic formula, so I figured I'd download a calculator. Oddly enough, I didn't find a quick (and small, for PDAs) excell-based calculator, so I wrote one.

If you ever need to calculate roots of quadratic polynomials, feel free to steal it:

When I was in high school (in Algebra II, 10th grade), me and a couple of my friends were outfitted with TI-86's. The athletes dubbed us "Calculator Corner" because we always had them out while the teacher was "teaching". When we weren't playing Tetris or Breakout or some other game, we would flip over to the next lesson in our book and program the formulas into our calculators so we only had to plug in the variables and let it solve the thing for us. I sure did hate that teacher when we didn't get to use the calculators on one of the tests...

But yeah, they should be able to do it themselves.

Hey, when it came test time, I was definitely the popular one with my awesomely cool TI link cable. Yeah. Um, I'm... going.. over ... here... now.

But yeah, I was the computer nerd in high school that everyone came to for help... and I still feel that way. Maybe that's why I post here...
