    Scour.net is evil!!

Really, Scour is a good site, but about 8 months ago I found my IP address in their database. I was sharing my MP3 folder in read only mode so my roommates could access it. I started to shutdown my system and got the message that there was 8 people connected to my system. One of my roommates said it my be Scour since only my mp3 folder was shared. Sure enough, went to Scour.net and found my ip address there with links to download songs from my system! I never gave scour permission to do this either. No more sharing at all for me. Now I run a ftp server and let my roommates get stuff that way. Anyway, that is my bad experience with Scour.

I love scour!! Well I did anyway...this guy lived in the floor above mine during my freshman year. Guess he knew the guys who made scour, man that site was the BOMB before everyone found out about it....so sad...
Well at least you can find songs on it again now!

I like Scour Exchange because the connections are fast. Also, you're not limited to just mp3's. It still crashes as they are still on a beta release...but I have a feeling it will do just as good as Napster. I hope.

hey, scour predated napster and was the best mp3 obtaining deal available at the time, so don't attack too fiercely. Besides...Scour was set up by a pair of ucla students... Pretty good for a couple of students, if you ask me.
