NBC did a totally dumb-ass thing and cancelled their Saturday night lineup in favor of movies and then some dumb football thing with the WWF. That means the Pretender and Profiler won't be on. I'm SOO mad!!!!

Okay, well here's the deal on that--I don't have CBS! =( I watch "Walker: Texas Ranger" on USA at night, but haven't ever seen Martial Law. Am just mad because they are putting on some new lame sounding shows during the week and then to start showing a football league that they came up with together with the WWF?? How stupid does that sound? Like we don't have enough football and wrestling?? Geez! lol

NEW YORK (AP) - CBS is sending Bette Midler in to fight "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," and will retool its Friday and Saturday night lineups in the fall with four new dramas. Midler's "The Bette Show" has the highest profile of the three new CBS comedies, featuring the singer playing a character suspiciously like herself. It's scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Wednesdays - opposite ABC's fourth night of "Millionaire." "We're going into the teeth of it with Bette Midler," admitted CBS President Leslie Moonves on Wednesday. "We think we will do OK." CBS is canceling its long-running medical drama, "Chicago Hope." The dramas "Martial Law" and "Now and Again" were also canceled. The comedy "Ladies Man" was left off the schedule but may make a mid-season reappearance.

I've never really gotten into any TV show ever since I watched mcguyver when I was a kid. And that was a long time ago. I think it's because I usually stereotype tv show as being generally bad. Any good shows that you can recommend? And don't say Texas Ranger. I've seen it a couple of times and I don't understand how the hell that show stays on the air. The acting is bad, the action is the worst I've seen....is the story good or something? I don't know....I never got into the X-files, but my friends told me it was pretty good. How about nowadays? what's REALLY good?

I agree most TV shows are lackluster ucbstan. TV shows I've found to be good are Law & Order, NYPD Blue (Dennis Franz makes that show), and The Practice.

Best babe on a TV show: Amy Brenneman from Judging Amy.

ER is stale in my view and the replacement characters aren't as interesting as the original characters. Ally McBeal is a show about a neurotic, anorexic woman. Star Trek: Voyager is a pale imitation of the first two Trek series with recycled storylines. I would hope that Paramount would give Trek on TV a break after this show ends next season to rejuvenate the whole trek concept but alas it appears that won't be so (too much of a ca$h cow).

i think that any tv show that has included chuck noris is a failure. he was decent (no better than decent though) in a few movies, but i just don't think he is capable of any acting, whatsoever.
