    Jet Li.
Fist of Legend is the best martial arts movie ever made (English-dubbed DVD sucks, though. Why didn't Disney include the Chinese audio track on it?).

I have to put my vote in for Jet Li.

dude, it's crazy. I'd like to vote for one single person... but dang, i just saw The Killer (ratedX version, for violence) this weekend... and i've more respect for Chow Yung Fat.

.. but then, i recently saw Fist of Legend (bruce lee tribute, pretty much), Once upon a time in China 1&2... and that kinda bumps Jet Li up that much more. PHATACTION!

... ergh... then there's Jackie. seperated by 3 degrees of separation makes him that much cooler... ever seen Drunken Master 2? can i just say PHATACTION?!

i have no decision made. hahah... my post was completely pointless. oh well.

Hmm, my nod has to go to Jet. Did meet Chan awhile ago, and he's a really nice guy. Everyone says he's great to work with (as if I'd ever get the chance).

Anyone ever see God of Gamblers (the original one, not all the rest)? Chow was really really good in that one.

uh yeah...i was talking about chow yung fat...not the wrestler; i'm not a big wrestling fan, but i won't go on a dennis milleresque rant at the moment. Well, it seems like there are a lot of jet li fans around here; cool. I like the cool demeanor that he keeps while fighting.

    Cool

My vote goes to Chow Yun Fat for his acting. I really like his movies in Hong Kong, especially the comedies and dramas. As for fighting, I have to go with Jet-Li. Dude's been trained in Shaoi-Li, that's style. I would have gotten all his DVDs if they weren't so expensive. Then there Jacky Chan, I met him during his Rush Hour filming....he's nothing...I'll take him on... . But he does give his fans the real stuff, the stunts. He also seems to be a very nice guy, very polite to his fans.

You guys can't really compare those three people, They all have different unique things about them that makes them all good. Jet Li could possibly be the fastest and deadliest fighter, Jackie Chan is the one who does his own stunts and fights with almost anything, Chow yun Fat is probably best with guns, esp. in action movie directed by john Woo.

You know what......since tehy all make movies in the US now, i can't wait for a movie starring Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Chow Yun Fat directed by John Woo....

it could happen.....who knows.....what if teh people petition for it.....

I think if you ask people back in Hong Kong, or even the Chinese here, they'll probably say Chow Yun Fat is better known for his acting ability. Both Jacky and Jet's films are all action/martial-arts based. But Chow's movie credits is totally diverse (action, comedy, drama, & romance). I love his old movies, hilarious.

you forget that jet li also has a lot of skill using random objects to fight, like in Romeo Must Die, when he used the trashbag tie things to knock those guys around without having to seriously hurt them.

Three words: Drunken Master 2. I have Fist of Legend, and I grant you, some of those scenes are absolutely dope (the cartwheel kick to the head...showstopping!). But you just don't match up to some of those drunken scenes in Jackie's movie, or especially that scene under the train platform and under the train. Easily the most mindblowing sequences in the business.
And who the hell voted for Chow Yun Fat because of his acting? I sincerely hope you were joking, or that he's a diametrically different actor in Chinese, because he is a total failure in English!

Anyone see Jet Li on the tonight show a couple weeks ago? Man, he was the biggest dork on the show I ever saw. I love his talent and all but he was acting like a fool on there.

Hey pennypinch, I voted for Chow, no joke, and I was referring to all his Chinese films. Yes his recent works (in America) wasn't that good.
