Silicon Valley where regular gas costs $2.13 a gallon and $1,000,000 gets you a shack of a house.

I remember doing that as a little kid in Chicago.

My elementary school had one of those nuclear shelter signs on it. Ah, the Cold War. Thank God it ended with a fizzle. The teachers never tod us it was about protecting us from a missle, but the smart ones knew. I'm not even that old either.

I would rather be in a hurrican region than near tornados or earthquakes. I've been SoCal my entire life so they don't really freak me out, but when they go off at 4:31 AM it scares you like nothing you can imagine! Remember, they're the most powerful natural event. Tornados are slightly less scary as you have a slight warning, but 300+ mph winds - sheesh Earth or Jupiter.

Hurricanes, outrun them in your car Of course they are a constant annual problem.

When we finally get that big quake in LA or NYC, we'll all see just how bad quakes are. Just look at Turkey last year.

No offense, but who wants football? We got the Lakers! Bye Bye Phoenix, hello Portland!

Melbourne is cool! I got to visit there about 7 years ago and it was beautiful! Got to run around in the outback too and drank out of rain puddles hehe

What colossus didn't know is that some 'roo had taken a wizz into the puddles beforehand.

Sounds like someone here is trying to pretend not having a football* team doesn't hurt. My skins are the odds on favorite to be super bowl champs this year.

It's nice to see the rams show a little appreciation for the hard working taxpayers of St. Louis after the taxpayers spent BIG bucks luring them to St. Louis. I can't say I approve of the public spending BIG money for stadiums and of cities competing with each other this way to lure teams away. That money should be used for other much more important things or better yet be back in taxpayers pockets where it belongs not creating some low paying jobs for a few days of the year.

*I'm not talking about that weanie playing soccer sport either.
