I hate to break it to you NiceMann but almost all soda's contain phosphoric acid including pepsi and mountain dew. That is the ingrediant that makes soda so bad for your bones.

Coca-Cola is my favorite drink. Here are a few fun facts about Coke that you may not know:

To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl. Let the
"real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke
    removes stains from vitreous china.
To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a
crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over
the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted
    bolt for several minutes.
To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan - wrap
the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is
finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for
    a sumptuous brown gravy.
To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy
clothes, add detergent, And run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will
help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your
    windshield.

FYI: The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It
will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. The distributors of coke have been
using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
    Drink up!

It doesn't do jack to your bones. Some dumbass did a lame study with 34 people and proved nothing. I could point you in the direction of over 20 clinical studies done over years that show it has no correlation.

The only reason you may not want to drink is it causes cavities and they're "empty calories." But I do love my Coca Cola. The original and still the best!

Coke is the one for me. That's pronounced cock at King's Pizza in Huntington Beach. You'll know what I'm talking about if you go order from the Korean guy. One large cock coming up.

Damn it! It is called POP, not soda, all you must be east coasters or something, cause out here on the west coast (seattle) we call it Pop. Yes yes I know people will mock me for sure, happens when I go back to school in Boston, but oh well. But has anyone ever put an old tooth or something, one that has fallen out preferably, in a cup and then poured coke over it? You leave it there for a while and then magically the tooth just disappears... go coke, dissolves everything. Anyways go POP.

Yeah, I've been in SoCal for 24 years never heard any of my friends call it pop. Only a couple of OLD teachers hehe

As for the dissolving, dude, you would be surprised what Tomatos will do! Even simple stuff like Lemon juice will rip apart most basic items. Stomach Acid, not that stuff is viciious. If it was poured on concrete, it eats about 1 mm per 6 hours of contact!!!

Soda Pop maybe, but never just Pop by itself (in California). Screw the caffeine, Coke and Pepsi has so much freaken calories in them. Gain so much dang weight.

Yeah, when I'm talking to my husband or someone I know, I just say coke and we know that it is most likely something besides "Coca-Cola".
