    secure wirless

    so i just set up my wireless network... how do i make it secure so that nobody can leech my network?

    Easiest way to keep most people out is to enable MAC authentication on your AP/router (as long as it's supported on your device).

    It's not that hard to get around it, but 99.9% of the population either doesn't know how or doesn't care to spend the time to get around it.

    oh... i'm using a u.s. robotics 802.11 g wirless turbo router. model is 8054...umm i think thats it... tell if that's wrong... thanks for the help
