It's doing the little things without complaining and without someone asking. From taking out the trash to getting off the computer and sitting on the couch and watching a movie or something on the tube.
If you want something spectacular.. plan a weekend getaway... up here near Avalia Beach we have hot springs and you can get a room with a spa or use one that is on the hill that is secluded away from everything and stay at Madonna Inn.
But the first is always what I brag about when it comes to my hubby

Its weird, having been married for almost three years and quite a DonJuan previous to the marriage I have found that three little words will make any women melt, and I don't mean "I Love You". Sincerly tell her "I appreaciate you" All to often we get comfortable in a relationship and forget that its our job to make our partner crystal clear on just how much we enjoy their company traveling down this pot-hole ridden road of life. Add some flowers to those words and you will get a big hug I am sure.

Lieutenant Junior Grade
wear a thong and give her a lap dance. i'm pretty sure she'll tell all her friends.
-
hahahahaha.... i like that!!!
-
...i'm kinda surprised that so little people responded to this.... don't you guys do anything nice for your girls???...
and ladies... if your man did something great... tell me about it... anything helps... i just bought my girl 100 roses that spell out I (heart) you... cost me a grip but whatever... she's worth it..

I buy her "cute" movies, like Stuart Little. Girls love those kind of movies, especially ones with a cute digital mouse, the Jerry Macguire kid, or both.
-
AJ, I watch "cute movies" with my kids! I don't think that is a romantic gesture... unless it is used to occupy the children while Daddy and I are busy with other things. *wink*
Jenny, I love your idea! And don't give up...maybe while reading over your shoulder, he will get a hint

E, IF, 100+ct, Ideal, GIA cert would work as well.

key word..Surprise
The element of surprise as in, do something unexpected of you.
Set up your sound system & TV/vcr or DVD outside in your driveway, (without her knowing) and go to a drive-in movie. Make sure it's a movie she likes. It may be kinda cheesy, but it's different.
Or arrange a scavenger hunt around town. Make it interesting, like, she has to go to (your favorite food spot) buy the food, and then drive to the next place, for example, a florist and pick up some roses, which you have already bought in advance of course, and have a nice little poem that you wrote of attached to it.

hey my girlfriend went crazy for stuart little. weird, but just passing it along..
-
I have that movie, it didn't do jack for me though.
-
well, you can cook a nice meal for her! that always works for me. nothing cheesy either like spaghetti. anyone and their dog can make spaghetti. now almond encrusted scallops in white wine sauce over spinach linguini is impressive!! hehe.
-
I can't make spagetti, but I can cook up a mean steak and fries/potatoes....
Too bad my girlfriend doesnt like meat

well...i made a big mistake in the beginning of my relationship; i spoiled her with tons of flowers and coming home from college all f the time to be with her, and all sorts of things...so it's hard to move up to more romantic things without insane amounts of cash...sucks to be me. I think I'm going to have to surprise her with something or other when i get home on thursday (flowers (i'm beginning to fell like these are getting redundant and repetitive (kinda like my saying redundant AND repetitive)), dinner, and then some time in a hot tub work for me...).

ok, when i first started "courting her," before we started dating, i found out what her two favorite flowers were (at the time, they were both out of season, and they were both rare roses...). Well, to make a long painful story short, i went to a few dozen florists before finding a place taht carried both and spent about 50 dollars just buying 3 flowers...then i also got her 6 of her 2nd favorite (another 35 bucks), and THEN i bought her 3 dozen regular red roses (at about 13 bucks per bouquet)...and gave them all to her (at five different delivery times) in a 24 hour period.
Let's make this a visa Commercial:
Girlfriend's favorite flowers... $50
Girlfriend's second favorite flowers... $35
Three dozen more generic roses... $40
Finally having the girl of your dreams, who you have secretly had an enormous crush on (while she has been your best friend) for a few months, as your girlfriend... Priceless
heh heh

Thats good advice for TupacBoy- tell your girl those:
"Girl, I care for you very deeply. You have the most beautiful body that has ever been created, and I have got to bag it."
"After several more hours of intense pleasure from my soft strokes and various romantic words, I will put my sting in you, down low."
hahaha
