Thread: my mailman hates me......

Well I have a different problem then that. I work all different hours so I am not usually home when the mail comes. Plus I don't trust all the kids in my neighborhood soI have all my mail and packages sent to my MBE (Mail Boxes Etc.) box. Man you should see the way they look at me now. I walk through the door...I hear "You have another 3 packages, dang don't you ever get enough". The owner already made me upgrade my box because I recieve so many. Well at least all the workers there know my name now.

    Thumbs down

At least your mailmen don't steal your stuff like the guys in my neighborhood.

    Received package from Shimano.
    Contents: absolutely nothing
Reason: package has been sliced open
My Assumption: mailman thought shimano brake component was jewelery of some sort

She used to cheerfully lay my package on my porch. Now since I get at least one package a day I hear her throwing my stuff down and stomping off! I have a long driveway she has to walk up too so I'm sure that doesn't help matters any. I kinda feel bad but all this free stuff i'm getting makes me feel better!! At least I didn't do that 600 magazines deal!

How strange! I would freak if I came home and someone was on my porch eating/going thru my stuff! Actually, I'd probably just let them. I mean if they are crazy enough to do that....who knows!

Maybe you guys should leave little notes and gifts for them like they do for the Canadian postmen on a certain day. Probably would keep most of the postmen from going "poastal".

I'm sure the manager of my apartment wonders what I get in the mail so often. The retarded carrier always leaves my packages at her apartment, instead of mine. I authorize the places to leave at the door, and I'm home most of the times too.

I leave them cash during the Christmas season. They still steal my stuff.

That's strange. I'm on very good terms with my ups guy and he shows up everyday carrying heavy stuff (how's four 21" monitors and a 22"?)

UPS guys are really nice and all that, but postal workers are sometimes a bit crazy. Like I've found some packages being thrown into my garden. You should see how much he can fit in one of those tiny little mailboxes, too. It's nearly impossible to get the freebies out sometimes.

Oh- and the United States Postal Service screws T-shirts the most. Every free t-shirt I've gotten has been screwed by the USPS (packaging ripped to shreds).

On a side note, I'd recommend that apex ship the t-shirts in the priority mail boxes that you can get for free at the post office (they don't screw those up so bad)

So it is everywhere like that? Postal Office workers are rude. Mine postman bring package rings the bell on my door and then drops the package. UPS and FedEx are much better, always ask how my day was and so on...

Well, see the problem is that UPS and their workers rely on good customer service and customer relations to stay in business. The postal service doesn't. Since they're owned by the government, they never can go out of business, so, why bother with nice customer service?

Not to mention that UPS doesn't have near as many different houses to deliever to. USPS has to hit the same houses everyday...day after day after day.

Well of course the UPS man has to go to Apex's house everyday...but he is a special case.

Heh heh. Maybe your mailman is mad because your calling her a mailman.

I think the postal office has a test to hire unstable people that'll eventually go postal. Otherwise they wouldn't get jobs anywhere else.
