I think they will try to keep the 800mhz chips priced as high as they can until competitors start lowballing (AMD). With that in mind, I do expect their 533mhz chips to have more significant price cuts in the early stages.
I posted this back on Jan 21, and it says the it will be about 170, so I could see it being 120.

This was covered before. The P4's prices drop until they hit a certain price level {$163} and then won't drop anymore. After that its just a matter of time before the cpu is phased out.
Celerons are Intels low cost cpu.
I'm waiting for the 3.2Ghz to drop more in price because I want to build my HTPC in May or so.

Well, there is only a $25 difference between the 2.4 800 and the 2.8 800, so something has to give pretty soon.

Next time prices are cut down the road, the 2.8 {800} price will be priced to be the same as the 2.4 {800} which will soon head to the great foundry in the sky.Originally posted by johnnymk
