How important is a new cpu cooler

I am putting together a P4 3.0GHz system. I do not plan on overclocking it and I was wondering if it is necessary to buy a different fan than the one packaged with the Intel processor. I was thinking 2 case fans would be enough, but wanted to be sure. Also if buying a different fan is a good idea, I am open to suggestions.

    Thanks

Hi theprod: Since you are not planning to overclock it, you can stick with the default cooler.

    cheers

Keep the OEM HSF if you don't plan to overclock.
