Web words really don't need confirmations since they're easily verified by all on the website.
I'm pretty sick of being nitpicked. I'm out.
of course that goes on everywhere.. hehOriginally Posted by Paniolo

Please Confirm the words. Not all of us have as much time as Paniolo to look the words up for ourselves.Originally Posted by Paniolo

Also, I was not picking on any plebes or ensigns.
Seems to me, if you have enough 'time' to go to the website to input your web word, then you have enough 'time' to confirm for yourself...it's right there.
Besides no one's going to be stupid enough to post a 'poison' web word.
*sigh*Why does this issue of confirming codes continue to rear its ugly head? One solution is for everyone to agree on a giant set of rules on confirming codes. However, this only works well with a static group of people. As new people arrive, they will be ignorant of the rules and break them causing the senior people to point them to the rules, which newcomers tend to take as assaults upon them...just like now.
I understand both sides of this argument. Paniolo has a valid point that it is silly to confirm a web word. However, could you take this a step further and say it is silly to even post a web word in the first place? From my standpoint and specific to this website, no. I like to see these words posted so that I don't have to go to the Thong page and add more questionable images than necessary to my browser's cache that my children might see. If the only post is from someone that I don't trust, then I will venture onto the Thong page (but clear the cache afterwards).
So I would encourage anyone to confirm a post (web or otherwise) of someone else of lesser rank. And yes, Paniolo, this would mean that I wouldn't mind if you confirmed everyone's post everyday, since you appear to be the most senior person on this forum.

Hope that makes you feel really superior falcon619.
It's my own fault, I should know better than to post an opinion around here. It gets all blown out of proportion & taken negatively, even if it wasn't intended that way.
Don't recall seeing you 'picked on' around here mochichat...I think you're over-reacting, but guess you gotta do what you gotta do.![]()
Paniolo. I have a lot of respect for you. I have yet to see you get flustered.Originally Posted by Paniolo

GreatScott, the newsletter always shows up on the link on the Rock's main page before they send it out as individual emails, just like KGB does, so if it's up on their website, then it's fair game to use.
