Christian love songs for my wedding...

I'm getting married this Saturday in Medford, OR. I found out today that I am to make a CD for reception music. Do you guys have/do your significant others have any good love songs by Christian artists that you could convert to MP3 and send to my Driveway account? If you can-I'll give you my aco**** ID and pass. I'd appreciate it. I'm prolly going to use DC Talk's "Godsend" for the video.

Hmm...

Though I don't actually have any ripped or in MP3 format (if I even have those CDs anymore...) You might want to grab Steven Curtis Chapman. Or Michael W. Smith.

There's a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that goes "Tomorrow morning if you wake up and the sun does not appear, I will be there"... dunno the name though. "Friends" by MWS is always a popular one.

If you're looking for soothing background music for a reception or something, drop by a local Christian music store and pick up a Vineyard Cafe series CD.

THe Steven Curtis Chapman song mentioned above is a good one. I think the title might be "I will be here" (Don't hold me to it)

At Christian bookstores/music stores there is a CD called "Intimacy" (which mught be Vineyard, but I am not sure) and it has some good songs.

The "Intimacy" CD is a Vineyard CD. It's in the "Why We Woship" series I believe.

Goldusa.com is a good site. But you will find many Christian CDs cheaper at regular CD stores and websites. There is a band called Passion that has really good music. You can buy that anywhere, including Buy.com (where I got mine).

The import London stuff is really rolling nowadays. Goldusa.com sells a lot of those.. but you also want to check acorndirect.co.uk for more.

Along the lines of Vineyard and British stuff, Vineyard UK has put out a couple CDs entitled "Come, now is the time", "Hungry", and their latest, "Surrender." All should be good.

Artists of recent that are more main stream American type music would be Jaci Valesquez and Point of Grace.

Oh, and one last thing, if you just walk into a Christian book/music store, all you have to do is say you need some wedding music and appropriate CDs, etc, and they probably can point you in the right direction. (I bet they get that question a lot)
