im so pissed. i was in the beginning of backing up my 200gig because ive been having all sorts of problems with it lately and when i try to access a file, it tells me that its corrupt and i cant access it. so i restart and when i get back in there, its all gone except 2 files. not even ones i wanted that much.

im really pissed about my music collection. i had over 6000 files. even though they were pretty much all legit, that was a lot of work. they were either my own rips or small time bands. its going to be hard to build that collection up again.

don't fret yet.. there are forensic data recovery apps that might get a lot of this stuff back..

tried a whole bunch of stuff. nothing found but a tiny little thumbs.db file.
