Call the station and ask for promotions. They're usually really good about answering the phone. Have never won an auction, however, when I win one of the other prizes, they usually send an e-mail the same day.

There's a new guy handling the email addressed to promotions. He seems to be reading the email as he has fixed a few things I have pointed out, but he doesn't respond to each (any?) emails like his predecessor Dana always did.

Has anyone noticed that 101kgb's auctions run direct, ie: whatever the "max" you bid, becomes the new high bid? Also, it seems that all points are immediately set in escrow, so you can't bid on multiple auctions w/ different end dates?

I saw that on Star94.1... I guess they put it in place here too. It's actually better because it makes you pick what you want to bid on. I've seen people bid 400,000 points on 3 different things which prevents me from bidding on one of them, then when they win one bid, they don't get the others so it reverts back to the previous bidder, which was less than what I wanted to bid on them (but I couldn't because the bidding was locked by a person who wouldn't win.)

I have seen the same thing, and I think it should work like a regular auction where the max bid I place is just that, my max. The actual bid should be whatever is required to get to the top, up to my max, akin to EBay. This way everyone sees what you have bid as a max (which is what it ends up costing if you win) and can easily outbid you. I don't like it too much.

Related to that...I bid on one last week. After a few days tried to up my bid and it would not let me. I couldn't bid higher since a large amount of my points were frozen. This means basically waiting till the last minute to use all the points I have to bid. Seems crazy to me.
