Today's Super Bowl toss was more fun and entertaining that I thought it would be. They announced this was their 5th annual toss, for me the first.

I got to chat with CATHYINKY for quite awhile. One time when I was up for my throw, someone from the "peanut gallery" shouted out...."win one for Apex." Unfortunately, it didn't help, but as I said it was fun.

I once won a chance for a similar thing on the field in front of 35,000 Padre fans....had to throw three baseballs through the hole in the Union 76 sign. If I had made all 3 I would have won $76,000. Alas, I only made one, got $76, a large duffle bag of Padres gear, 4 game tickets in the Union 76 box, my name and picture up on the scoreboard, and a framed pic of me up. Keep an eye out for these things....they are a lot of fun.

It was fun even though I didn't win. It was great getting to meet and talk with Itsme. Wish one of us would have won, but like the Red Sox used to always say "There's always next year."
