Probably next week i'm planning on having cable and internet in my new apartment. Time Warner is running a package deal for a bit then its like 90 buck s a month.
There is only 1 cable outlet. If I have them put in digital cable with the reciever and all, a cable modem, can I also split off the tv signal to multiple rooms?
Here is what I am assuming: Outlet, split in 2 one to digital cable, ther other to cable modem. I split off the signal before the digital box, send 1 to the box, and split the rest off to the other rooms.
I know that I won't have digital cable in the other rooms but I would get regular cable right? Not that I need all this, but it would be nice. I would have the digital cable, and the cable modem in the living room, have a tv in the bed room, a tv in the office, and another hooked up to my computer. Is that too much???? My guess is they will have to boost my signal alot if I do this.
