I dont really know whether this belongs in Suckage, b/c it does kinda suck (for me at least), but i guess the topic at hand fits here more or less.

I realized how crappy it is for two of my friends to hook up w/ each other and be dating.

I mean, its cool and all that they're both friends of mine, so I know both of them, and since I know that they're both sane and cool people, you can look at 'em and say "Awww how cute" etc etc...

But heres the suckage part: I've pretty much lost two friends. Coz you know, once you're dating, you dont hang out with your friends, you hang out w/ the SO.

i dunno, but in my experience, whenever a friend of mine ends up getting a boyfriend/girlfriend, they pretty much dissappear. My roomate, for example, when he was with his girlfriend, would pretty much spend 80-90% of his time with her. any of the friends b-day gatherings or watever, he wouldnt be there, just coz he already "had plans". and its like that for many other of my friends too. whenever the cell phone rings, they're like "oh, gotta go!"

but anyways, its frustrating becuase for sure i cant be mad them, but yet still, its like.... arg.

Oh the answer to the problem is you have to get a girlfriened now and do double date sort of things. Mostly like go over and watch a movie, have a beer, little bit of guy talk. Almost all my friends have serious SOs and about half the the time I hang out with one of them, I hang out with the other along with my SO. It's like an instant little party.

But really, It always happens. It's been nice recently. A friend of ours finally found himself a girl ( and I tell ya what, he is a catch!!!). It's been 2 weeks and I think I have seen him 4 times instead of every day. I mean, our house is quieter, but you get used to cooking for the extra person.
