Damn that is one sweet car he got to drive. If you went to the main page I am sure you couldn't pass it up without giving it a look. Now I am not usually a car man (trucks are my thing), but I would love to own that!
btw Apex I am totally aware of how much you have to get use to shifting with your left hand. Just takes a little time to get use to it. I went on a trip to England last year. Too bad the rental car I had wasn't like your friends

apex, how in the world did you get to drive that car? did someone import it and get an
illegal smog or what? what was the price on that baby? it couldnt have been cheap

Heh, it was thanks to Nissan of North America. They had 1 for testing, and I was lucky enough to score a few thousand miles worth of treadwear (as you know, every good peel out takes about 200 miles off your tread).
If you want to get one for yourself, prepare to pay about $80-90k. I've actually seen one on the road here.

Having a Skyline living in SoCal is so pointless. I'd understand driving a Porshe but, the Skyline is too big to squeeze through the impossible canyons created by the crazed soccer moms and sometimes the Asian people with too much money in the damned SUV's. Don't get me wrong, I'm Asian, but talk about mob mentality in buying the "BIG" cars. Sheesh! Well there I go digressing. Driving a Skyline would be fun though, oh well, back to reading for my morning class.

Yeah, actually the R34 is a big car, about as big as a mustang (way way too large for me). I'd personally like the smaller last generation or generation before (R33 or R32)... or better yet, the upcoming Lancer Evolution VII.

I saw a Skyline today, I sorta felt proud that I passed up that monster on the freeway. Its so weird to see a car speeding without a person sitting on the left (in my opinion the "right") side of the car.

Where are you located? Is it the blue MotoRex one?
-
No, it was black and that's all I remembered, this guy was taking it real slow. I was going west on the 91 freeway at the I-5 transition is, right before Beach Blvd.

Hi all,
actually, I'm SpeedRacer's brother.
Anyways, I must say that the Skyline was fun to look at. The fact that my car passed it up is a mild ego boost, even though I know that the Skyline could have left my brother and my car in the dust. Power to my Sonata!
