you gotta most likely fly a red eye with multiple connections and it will be really cheap.

or dress like an old man and get a deal through an old persons club
I have an athlon xp 2500+ ... aren't you glad you know that?

I don't know if they fly to any airports around you, but southwest does $59 or $89 round trip tickets from San Diego and LAX to Vegas pretty frequently. See if they fly to any airports in your area.

You could always rent a car if you don't mind the drive. I think its 7 hours from Sac. And its always nice to have a car to get around Vegas. Just stay off the main strip. A Car could be had for 20 - 30 a day.

Not gonna find a red eye to the same timezone... however the multiple connections thing could potentially work to save a few bucks.

Dude. It's the summer. This is when all those cheap flights are sold out. You gotta book WAY in advance or try your luck at priceline.

Flights out of Oakland or San Jose won't be all that cheap right now since it's summer.

I think its a mater of how far ahead you book. If you are in cali, then i dont think you are gonna find a multiple stop trip to las vegas. Southwest has deals for like 80-90 dollars round trip. And then again, you could always drive... I drove it last weekenda and flew it the month before. Just got to www.southwest.com or like orbitz.com and you should be able to find cheap flights.

thanks guys for all your help!!! I finally decided that I'm gonna take a little drive over to vegas instead! Damn tickets too expensive! the cheapest I found!! LOOKING EVERYWHERE, was 146 round trip. And I calculated it, I would only be driving for like 7 or 8 hours or so. And saving like 65 bucks. Extra spending money! WOO HOO!!!

Watch your temps and speed. You will be climbing up to 5000 ft in some steep mountains. Uphill, especially if you get stuck behind a slowpoke, with your AC on...you can really do a number on your engine.

Also, CHP loves sitting outside of Barstow and Baker to get the speeders coming off the mountains. I have found 85-90 to be safe.

but I can't go slow in my bimmer!!!

    j/k...no bimmer.

but I notice my speed very well. I usually go around 75-85 depending on where I am. I'll be sure to bring along some anti freeze and water to cool down the ol engine! thanks for the heads up!
