If you REALLY need them bad, and you're sure that none of your friends have an old hard drive that you can swipe the jumper from, CompUSA has a 100 pack for $6.99.

But I'll bet if you ask around, someone will have one you can have--check out some old motherboards, as well, as many of them had jumpers you could possibly use.

There's never enough case screws or jumpers are there. I start using other jumpers from the motherboard hoping nothing goes wrong.

Is there no CompUSA or Fry's near you? For your $7 you can get a hundred of them and have them tomorrow... I'd be willing to bet any computer repair place would sell you some for under a buck--I can't imagine anyone who builds more than a computer or two per year wouldn't have a bunch just laying around...

Of course, maybe it's better to buy two than to have 98 of them laying around...

That's what I was thinking. Most of us have tons of jumpers lying around; 37 cents delivers.
