Mouting CD Rom images so that they are accessible w/o CD

Hey all, I have about 9 cd's that I want to install on a computer so that the users don't have to put the CD's individually into the computer everytime they want to use them. Also the disks are expensive (around a grand) and so I don't want them to walk away. The discs are copyright protected as well and so I am not sure yet if I can burn copies, and so what I was wondering is if I might be able to rip an image of them onto the computer, so that Windows thinks that the disks are actually there and fool the software into thinking that as well, in case it requires the CD to be in the CD-rom when running the product.

you can use Daemon Tools.

CloneCD also has a image mounting tool built-in, as well as Alcohol 120%.

I would recommend using Alcohol to create the image.

You can use any CDR software and create an iso image.

Then use daemon tools to mount the isos. Its that simple.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Daemon Tools sounds like a good idea. I imagine that this will allow me to copy even disks that are write protected? They be mine!

if the discs have some sort of copy protection (like Safekey, or Securom, or watever), then Alcohol is the weapon of choice, as it can circumvent those measures. Then you will have to have Daemon Tools "emulate" the copy protection when it runs the isos (which is simply a matter of checking a box in the Daemon Tools options menu).
