Diablo 2 Character Poll

Hey for those of you that either played the beta or have been reading up on Diablo 2 which Character will you guys use?

I vote for Necromancer although Socoress comes in a close second still deciding =)

I have the stress test version of Diablo II and I have to stick with the barbarian. But it's way too early to say unless you play the full version.

Diablo 2 RULES!! can't wait to play it. I plan to jump right onto battlenet to play the game... So like clueless ask which character is the best to use?

It seems that a lot of people in the stress test are looking forward to the necromancer, I think that it what I am going to go for, but hey why not just have one of each.

One of each would be nice but take too long to pump up each character =)
The problem i have with Necro is that it is more of a passive playing it is not like you directly inflict damage you have your non-controllable summoned creature do the a$$ kicking. so I want to ask the beta testers if that passive playing was a problem?

does anyone have an official release date of Diablo 2 yet? i've had it pre-ordered at ebworld.com for several months. i didn't get in on the stress test or any of the demos because i didn't want to ruin the surprise. i've heard sometime in late june or early july. that is coming up soon!

Wish I knew of this sooner so i can get the overnight deliveris o well i got a 2-3 day deliver but I am happy with that

I just got me a ISO copy of Diablo2 off a buddy of mine. Its the final release in full. the only thing is that you need a cdkey to play battlenet. i figure if i like the single player mode ill fork out the bucks later on when it gets cheaper to play the multiplayer. this game is awesome!!!! and its huge!!! 3 CD's!!

The only reason i am buying the game is for the battlenet... I'm am not even playing the single version and is jumping straight to Battlenet.

necromancer all the way; i had a friend who was in the closed beta, and i was in the open beta (ended today). all i can say is that the barbarian's first skills all blow monkey nutz.

Agreed, but I don't think we'll play the Barbarian for his skills. Rather, his ability to use two weapons at once...gotta love having two two-hand swords at once!

I thought I was supposed to be 4 cds...and I'm into ISOs too, but if there was one game you needed to buy using real money, diablo2 is it.
