sim mars???

does anyone know what has happened to sim mars?? i have been following it development, but since i started working full time and since i started playing diablo 2, i have fallen behind on sim mars info. www.simmars.com which once used to take me to the site, now redirects me to the simsville page. also, every page previewing the game seems to have had the imaged pulled. ign had their preview pulled as well. what gives?!?! maxis had better release this game or i will be entirely pissed off!! it was going to be one of the coolest sims ever!! say it ain't so joe!!

In response to the "hold" status of SimMars, which may now put it several years off, The SimPage will be "hiding" its SimMars content. The SimMars ActiveList has been indefinitely shut down, as will the SimMars Surveyor Mailing list. The membership pages will be removed and the list will be "closed" until SimMars production begins again. All other SimMars features will also be "closed" until this time.

If you object to this "hiding" of the SimPage's SimMars content, post a reply to this news and tell us, otherwise I'll take the pages offline this weekend to clean up the site a bit."
