personally I use to think skeletons are phat but then relize they are only good for distractions
Golems last way longer and don't need corpse to generate.
Skelital mages are very useful but problem is that you can't tell what magic they are related to until u summon them but all in all the mage and golem are great.
bone spells i am waitng to get bone spear which should be awesome. As for curses I really don't use them all that often.

I have two questions.
1) For Paladins, what weapon you should use? I have a unique pike right now that deals 130 max damage. The problem is that it's two handed and has a slow attack rate (though zeal cancels this out a bit). I just don't think it looks right for a paladin to be using a pike.
2) For Necromancers, what skills do you build on? I read that having a skeleton army is good in the beginning, but gets pounded on in act 2. I also heard that curses aren't very good unless you concentrate in them, and that the best thing to get is that exploding corpses thingy. Teeth blows chunks also. So what else am I supposed to use?

damnit...misspelled necromancers in the title. sorry....

What level are you Clueless?

I just got level 18 hehe got the blood golem now to have some more fun =)

Madcool, does anything special happen when you get a complete set? My technique for beating a mob of enemies with a paladin is first running around a lot until they separate, then using charge attack to take them out one by one, and using zeal if I get trapped. This has worked for me so far. I open up a portal before I fight so that I can chicken out. The enemies are still damaged when you return from the portal.

StonedWheat: If you complete a set, you get an added bonus in addition to what you get from individual parts.
Prominx: What's a good strategy in beating the cow level? I tried beating it with my paladin at level 28 but I got trashed and in addition, I didn't get much experience.

Well, I would say that my necro is probably...the best equipped of anyone's on this page, so there. He uses Sigon's Guard (a shield that does 23 defense and +1 to all skill levels), some unique war sword (8-20 attack and +1 to all skill levels and plenty of other stuff), and the wormskull (nice bone helm that has poison resist and duration decreasing...and +1 to all skill levels), and a prismatic amulet that does about 20% resistance to everything.
Basically my guy has higher than 50% resistance (even on nightmare) for fire/lightning/cold/poison and automatically gets 3 extra skill level points into every skill i study. I just love it.
And oh yeah, my skels are strong enough to survive, even in nigtmare act 2 (i have like 10 points in mastery).

Hey do u suggest leveling up corpse explostion? Cause lvl up only increase radius so not sure if worth it since most times need it when surrounded..

Hey Promix haven't seen you around for a long time
playing a lot of diablo 2 lately eh?
I wanted to see why u disliked starcraft in my previous topic because i really want to know. You are entitled to your opioions but being a game lover i just don't want you to miss out on a great game without full trying out and understanding the game.

i have returned, and have answers for all.
gear02: i was a necro when i eat the cows, and i would just corpse explosion the hell out of those fat jersey bitches; for a paladin, maybe the lightning aura would be a good one while you ran around them.
CluelessSi: definitely put points into corpse explosion. I thought it was retarded in my main character until I got to level 30, and my friend kept nagging me to put one of my stored points into it...and i really like it. I have level 4 explosion now (from all of my +1 to all skill items), and i love just killing the strongest monster on the screen (usually with bone spirit or toe-to-toe attack), and then corpse explosioning everyone else with one shot.
CluelessSi again: well, i have been playing a lot of diablo 2, but...the reason i stopped posting here is because GotApex is depressingly slow from a dial-up modem. Then i got a job in a building that is wired up with a T1...and i'm back in business (to a lesser extent; i'll go full blown when the school year begins). I just can't stand Starcraft; I gave it many many shots to see if i could get to like it, but it never worked out. I played modem games with friends, and i just didn't enjoy it as much as so many other games, even though i becamse pretty good...so this is the only blizzard game that i refuse to honor by placing in my easy-access game album (a cd book of games). Oh well...
And to everyone else, here is some advise; when you reach level 30, put your first point in fire golem, then the next few into blood spirit. My level 4 blood spirit does 78-98 damage or something like that, and it only costs like 13 mana.

Hi anybody. I've got a question about weapon choice for a Paladin. Scepters and the like are often imbued with several skill points for Paladins, but they really don't hit hard enough. I'm at level 26 right now, using either the Demon Barb Poleaxe (don't know if it's rare or unique) or a rare sword. I feel like I should be using something that actually complements the Paladin's abilities, but I don't want to make a trade off for less damage done. Should I, or am I right in ignoring the Scepters and Maces, etc.? Also, what skills should I definitely have built up? Thanks for your help.

-
I am using the Milabrega Rod which has +1 to all paladin Skills. There are a few war sceptor out there that are pretty good. I found one that dealt massive dammage but sold it to use the Milabrega Rod instead.

I wish I had Corpse explosion, when I went on the farm. But I had written it off as lame. here is advice, if you;re a necro without Corpse explosion. USE CONFUSE. this was plain awsome. A whole screen of cows beating each other to death(plus my little army beating them up...without much damage). I'm level 27.9(love the decimal numbers). Think next point may go into CE.
