Anyone else here getting this error after installing a patch? Blizzard says they're working on it, but it's been like 3 weeks since they last contacted me... Anyone found a workaround to this?
-
I don't have any error about that with patch 1.03
-
Hehehe,
Are ya using a Burned CD? If ya are 1.03 just make it a little more difficult.

Nope, I have a real, genuine CD. Just when I try to install the patch, it doesnt read the Play CD anymore. Apparently, Blizzard says, that a large number of people are having this difficulty and frankly, i dont think they can find a fix for it, other than releasing a certified no-cd patch... but, fat chance of that happening...

I feel for ya,
Must be torture having the CD right in front of ya, with your strong built up personal charcter on ya computer some where that ya cant play.

My friend said there might be some kind of crack that allows you to play without the cd with a Full install. Search the web and you might find it.

give them some time and they'll release a v1.3 compatable no-cd patch

Cool. Constantly hearing the spinning sound of CD drives me nuts.

if you were to email me at [email protected], it would definitely be possible for you to get something that would work. like a patch .. of some sort ..
