    Cheerleader boots help protect Indians rookie from bullet

    So this pitcher for the Indians gets shot in a weird random drive-by, and in an even weirder twist, he happens to be wearing knee-high cheerleader boots at the time.

    I guess he'll be an outspoken advocate for similar hazings in the future.
