what do u use to block spam?

hey. what do people use to block spam?

I'm using Outlook for mail, and it hooks up into an IMAP server.

I've downloaded like 2 things that I find out don't support IMAP. Now, I just tried downloading cloudmark's spamnet, and it detects spam fine, but then when moving the file...doesn't purge the message (it deletes as it's moving). so, it finds that message marked for deletion, and just spits the spam into the spam folder over and over again. couldn't find anything in the options to fix that.

anyone else have a good spamfighting software to recommend?

    TIA

My internet provider, Earthlink, has a pretty good spam blocker. They save them on their server so I can look at them and decide if any are OK. It will automatically delete them after a certain point. A few still get through, but not very many. I don't think you can download it if you are not an Earthlink user though. They have a good pop-up blocker too.
I add new pictures to my photo gallery pretty regularly. You can see them here if you are interested: http://www.pbase.com/jeffryz

i use k9 (www.keir.net) with outlook. it doesn't delete the files, but moves them into a spam folder. so far, hardly any of my spam gets sent to my inbox. when i get around to it, i just delete the contents of teh spam folder. it's free too
