Damn it, I am under House Arrest.......

sort of. Its raining here in San Diego, which means that the sane people stay in their homes/places of work. I feel like I am all cooped up, but have no need to go anywhere, its just a desire to get out of my place. Yet, I know that the freeways will be parking lots/a lot of crazy folks and I cant stand playing freeway roulette with all the idiots who dont know how to drive.

I have said it before, but if it ever snows/freezes down here, the roads will be littered with dead people. I dont mind driving in snow/ice/rain/etc. as I grew up having to deal with it. (Snow/Ice/rain/etc in PA. Torrential downpours in FL)

Ack, I am going nuts. On top of that my dishwasher is being way too loud. Time to go hit Raoul and tell him to shut up.
Welcome my son, welcome to the machine...Where have you been? It's alright we know where you've been....

I thought the joke was... What do you do when your dishwasher is being loud?

Tell your wife to shut up.

I get stir crazy like this sometimes too. It helps to get out of the house, even if it's just to the library or the grocery store. You could pick up some ingredients and make a special dinner for your sweetie.

Yeah. The weather down here is just awful right now. I sure wouldn't want to be on the S-5 or S-805 today alongside all those "Left-Lane-Lunatics."

After I witnessed a horrific accident on the E-54 involving 3 vehicles and a motorcycle I can't drive like I did in High School anymore. It's just not worth it.

Personally, days like this give me an excuse for being lazy. I'm going to play some Counterstrike on X-BOX Live.

You could go to an indoor mall like Plaza Bonita or Parkway Plaza, just goof-off and do some window shopping. Check out the hotties, you know.

I finally got out of the house at 6pm to get my ears raised and hit Costco. As I figured, the crazies were out and I was nearly plowed into a few separate times. Idiots are all on the road and traffic is increased, probably because of the weather.

CA doesn't have lots of rain thus the sewage system can't handle lots of water therefore flooding is really bad when rains hard. Second, CA dirvers can't drive when rains thus accidents and delays. Advoid driving at all cost when rains.

I love the rain here. I don't mind driving in the rain though today I wished I was driving my F-150 in lieu of my Matrix. I saw some crazy accidents on the way to work too. I like when it cools off in CA, it becomes more cozy and reminds me of Thanksgiving and home (the SF Bay Area).

We went 183 consecutive days without rain in downtown LA until it started raining Sunday. that's a long ass time to only have sunny days or at worst, partly cloudy. i almost washed my car Saturday afternoon. Good thing I was lazy or I would have been pissed on Sunday.

Supposed to hit us tomorrow. Rain is a precious commodity in the desert so I'll take it!

Edit - looks like it is closing in:

The only thing I don't like about the rain is when you have to sleep by yourself. We had a crazy storm last night... and I was hugging ... a T-shirt

I love it when it rains. I wish it would rain for a month straight, then go back to regular San Diego weather.

Yeah, we San Diegan's are puss....well...."furry kittens" when it comes to rain. We have like every reporter "on the scene" next to road floods whenever it rains like this. Or at least someone outside in the rain as if we couldn't see it for ourselves out our windows.

I saw those typhoons on the news, now THAT is rain.

yeah, all those reporters kill me. and every station has their "STORMWATCH 2004" banner up or something like that. and they check in with live reporters who say, "it's raining hard here in blah blah blah. drive safe." and they do it like 14 times over. as if the world were coming to an end or something. although local LA news is pretty bad no matter what the subject, so we can't be surprised. I mean, with local weather men named "Dallas Raines" and "Johnny Mountain" we're already off the deep end...
