need video card deal

I got a voodoo3 2000 I hate it. I mean its good stable but the frame rate really sucks. I luck If I get a sustained rate of 20fps but It tops out at 79.9fps but that is a rare occasion. Take my advice and get a tnt2.

Not to turn this into a TNT vs. 3dfx argument (God knows there are enough of those on the web, plus I love nVidia's products. . .) but the Voodoo3 is a good card and for pure frame rates, REALLY fast. Especially for the price. If you do go TNT2, just make sure that you don't get the M64 version. Bad. It is cheap, but slow.

If you're willing to spend just a little more, you could get a GeForce2 MX card. The cheapest you can get is about $115 including shipping on pricewatch.

The GeForce MX smokes the TNT2, THAT'S the difference.

If you wanna spend less than $80, get a Voodoo3 3000. If you can afford $120, definately go for the Geforce 2 MX.
