    Ya, I was hoping to get one of these for my dad who's diabetic so I'll wait till next time. Thanks for the post though.

    Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but I just got this in the mail. I think this is the longest it's taken for a free item to show up!

    Very nice meter though, I like it much better then the one I was using before.

    No kidding! UPS showed up at nearly 9 pm and I was like WTF??? I wasn't expecting anything...Hard to remember what I signed up for over a year ago! Like I said though this is a nice meter. My old one (Which I thought was pretty modern) took 5 ul and 45 seconds to read. This one takes .3 ul and only 5 seconds so I am happy! Plus it came with a lancet device that I can use on my forearm or palm rather then my fingers.
