That is a looooong time to wait.
Heh, maybe they meant 14-16 months. 

Like I said though this is a nice meter. My old one (Which I thought was pretty modern) took 5 ul and 45 seconds to read. This one takes .3 ul and only 5 seconds so I am happy! Plus it came with a lancet device that I can use on my forearm or palm rather then my fingers.
