Will this work for networking a Mac?

I need a wireless adapter for my Mac (G4-10.3) as well as my Xbox (Halo 2). I was hoping to save money by buying one adapter that will work for both, depending on which one I was using at the time. Closest I have found is this... LINK It is the Linksys WGA11B. It's designed for gaming, but would it work with my Mac on our wireless network? Thanks.

As far as I know, that Linksys is a wireless bridge. My guess is that you will not be able to use it as a simple wireless card, but I may be wrong as some may allow you to disable the bridging feature.

I've never worked with wireless bridges before. Do you know of any hardware solutions that would allow me to buy one device for both purposes?

I think I might not quite understand your situation. However this is what I'm thinking you're wanting, wireless for your xbox and g4 with only one card? Only way that could be possible is that if the two were in the same room, you could get a airport card for your g4 and then use the g4 as a bridge by sharing the ethernet port to the xbox. But I'm not sure if that is your situation, if you could elaborate a bit more would help to clear things up.

The xbox would be in the living room, the G4 in my room. Ideally I would buy two seperate wireless devices, one for the xbox and a wireless card for the G4. I don't have that kind of money so I thought I would try to buy one device which would be moved when I wanted to play xbox online. I saw that the linksys wireless game adapter and microsoft wireless xbox adapter both use a cat5 cable to connect to the xbox and wondered if it would be possible to plug them into the G4's ethernet port to connect to our network. Is this possible? Just trying to save some $$$. Thanks for trying to help me out.

Ok,I figured this one out on my own. I bought a Linksys Wireless-B Ethernet Bridge model WET11 and was able to accomplish what I was looking for. It plugs into the ethernet ports on the Xbox and the Mac using cat5 cables and accesses my wireless network. When I want to play Xbox, I carry it into the living room and plug it in. Otherwise it is attached to my Mac. All for $75 which saved me some loot.
