However, when you have the opportunity to go to an event and talk to people there you find out that thousands are participating.
On a more positive note....I participate in many radio station sweepstakes and contests and win quite a lot. The "secret" is that your odds are not good if you just participate in one or two contests, you need to be in many of them at the same time...assuming you have the time to do so.
