    I need a big favor from everybody...

    OK, here is teh story. My best friend's band [Big City Dreams] submitted their demo during Warped Tour for a contest with Takeover Records. Well long story short, out of 7000 submissions they made the final 10. The winners get a record deal and a clothing sponsorship as well as opening for Yellowcard on their next tour. Obviously, this is huge for them.

    My favor is I need you guys to go vote for them. The hard part is you have to register an account at Purevolume.com. It takes 5 minutes but I know people hate registering for anything, which is why I'm really begging you to do it for them.

    Sorry about that. Apparently their authentication server is slammed by people registering. They say it will take an hour or so for the email to get to you. Thanks for trying.

    hey, neat site. i actually may go back and check out more stuff there...

    my husband's cousin has a goofy little high school band... they jsut cut their first 21 minute cd, about 5 songs on it, and it's actually really good... i've listened to it more than once. i'll let them know about this site, they should ahve fun trying to promote themselves on it...

    good luck to your friends! if they wind up on tour, post about it, and we can all go heckle, rr, support the band...

    Anyway, they got my vote, so do I get dibs when they start getting groupies? Honesty, they were the easiest to listen too. Could barely hear the lyrics on the other bands' songs.

    It took a while but... I finally got my registration, and have voted.

    Decent song. Having spent time listening to them all, I honestly probably would've picked it anyways.
