Yeah, when you're off continent Thanksgiving just seems to go right by. Last year I was in Australia and almost forgot about it altogether.

Just enjoy your time in the ghetto.

I will be flying back on Thanksgiving day. If everything goes right, I'll be home just in time for dinner. Granted, I will have been on planes for 16 hours, but I will still be there.
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

this year we're doing very little... burned out. Honestly I'm thankful 2004 is almost over. It was a bad year.

Will they have turkey? I can't see the picture.

Btw, how expensive is food and stuff there? I'm thinking of going next year.

    Feel sorry for you.

I had to work last weekend (12 hours each on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Good thing that I have my 4 days weekend otherwise I'm going to go crazy.

I was in Paris on Thanksgiving once. I didn't expect Thanksgiving to be "recognized" anywhere, but I expected to be able to find turkey on a menu somewhere.

We wandered around for about an hour, looking at the menus posted in restaurants, but couldn't find so much as a turkey sandwich anywhere.

    I had a pork chop.

Well, ate there with some of my coworkers. It's a nice place. Good atmosphere. and an interesting menu...

Mexican food, from the Ghetto. The kick the mexican food around in the ditch for a while before they give it to you i suppose.

    Mmmm... Ghetto Tacos....

My Favorite! Taco Rice, Ghetto Style!

But in all honesty, their food was quite delicious.

Oh shut up Hello Kitty. Don't be mad that people are thinking of others and not just themselves all the time!
