Why do flights to Los Cabos differ so much in time?

I'm thinking about going to Los Cabos next month for a short vacation. I see that some flights take 3 hours to get there and 1.5 hours to get back (Aero California and Air Mexico). Alaska does both round trips in about 2 hours. Can anyone explain this discrepancy to me? I understand there are tailwinds and such... but does that make a 1.5 hour difference?

It may be that Los Cabos is on Mountain Time and you're Pacific. Beautiful place.

Don't know why the time difference, but if you choose to go Alaskan Airlines, you should be able to upgrade to first class for $40.00 each way. Last time I flew them that's how much it was. And it was DEFINATELY worth it
