Echo player rewards - internet cash?

i just signed up for the echo player and was checking out the rewards, so what's this 'internet cash'? i would think if u get 20 bucks for it for less points than 18 bucks at amazon everyone would go for it.

Except for the fact that the stores that accept Internet cash suck big time, don't carry anyhting of any true value to most people, and their prices are somewhat unreasonable...
