Well, Barrister Nijibo Bobo sent me an email that apparently my long lost nigerian dead relatives have about 2 zillion dollars in an offshore banking account that I am entitled to..If you want the money, you can have it-all you have to do is send me your name, social security number, address, and mothers maiden name. No no obby, this guy wants money. Nigerian scammers want to "give" you money.
You can atleast ask the guy for proof of invention before dismissing him.

What is so strange to to ask for an advice where to find an investor? Nobody asks for money to hang on the beach and drink cuba libre.... we talk about an investment to realize something - one has an idea and the other one the money to do it.... and then the success is shared... win win we call this ....the most things we use here in internet is done like this... think about google.... you think it would be there without investors???? My question is serious... and I thought this forum is also serious?????
I don't need to ask for "proof of invention" because if the guy was THAT serious and needed money-he'd go apply for a loan like everyone else.

and seriously, do you think a random-ass internet forum is the best place to find out about sources of VC funding?
It is a serious & legitimate question, but no, we're not a serious forum!
The VC for networking/internet proposals is VERY hard to come by these days. I'd recommend that you start your search on Google & maybe even find an agency that can hook you up with a VC firm. Check outside of the US, also - esp. in the far east.
i saw 100.000 and i thought hmm a hundered bucks? thats not too bad to ask for.. bound to be someone who donates...
