what is this foreign object on my calendar?!?! it looks like... a... blank... box...

whoa. no psychiatrist appointment, no dentist appointment, no pediatrician appointment, no pediatric GI surgeon appointment, no peidatric plastic surgeon appointment, no preschool, no laundry to do, no child language development experiment volunteering, no grocery shopping that needs doing, no visiting family to clean up for, no hungry friends to cook for, no outstanding web order or medical bill snafus to yell at cs about over the phone...

i have absolutely nothing scheduled for tomorrow

i think... i might faint... walls closing in on me... hard... to breathe...

wow. is this as rare for everyone else as it is for me?!?!?!?

what to do, what to do... maybe i'll go to barnes and noble... buy a $5 coffee... read a book while the kids play with teh brio train table... then head next door to play my way up and down the aisles at toys r us... go home and watch some cartoons...

(actually, there's probably something scheduled that i forgot about )

well... it's socially irresponsible to do have a beer when i'm the sole caretaker of three kids, if for no other reason than it may diminish my reflexes just enough for them to finally bring their evil plots to fruition...

but after bedtime, ohellsyes. i'm there, dude

naw... every time i whip out the luthier's tools with the intent of hittin the banjo parts, i get distracted by yet another gorgeous old violin in need of some love...

but now i've hit a point where the only violins i have left to repair are either so effed up that i don't have the tools to deal with them yet, or they don't look like they have enough potential to really get me excited. so... i should be back on the banjo soon. i have finished cutting out the pearl inlay for the headstock... it's a dragon, and it rocks highly the rest of the construction is sheduled for the month of january. so i should be ready to do some twangin just in time for chinese new years!

Nope.....I never write anything on my calendar, because that would be logical and easy.

My wife dislikes it when I write things on the calendar because g-d forbid I desecrate the page it might take away from the opposing page's artwork. (Yeah, I dont get that...and its not that I am whipped, its just not worth the ensuing discussion.)

So instead, I have to use one of our palm pilots, the computer, and any scrap papers I have laying around to keep track of everything.

That said, my schedule is not that hectic right now and for law related things there is the schedulers at the office that keep track of dates, times, venues and all the other fun tidbits that go into the practice of law. (Although right now, being unemployed that doesnt matter.)
Welcome my son, welcome to the machine...Where have you been? It's alright we know where you've been....
