I really want the latest Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and PageMaker. Legal ones. Anyone know of some good discount or package rate? thanks....

if you are a college student, you should be able to pick up the educational versions for a pretty good deal. check your campus bookstore and/or computer store.

honestly, adobe is one of the best software companies out there in my opinion... their programs are all excellent and have basically become the standard for so many industries. if you are going to be doing any commercial work, please buy your own copy. [rant]i don't give a barrel of monkey piss if you pirate windows because it's just a bloated marshmallow that has been in the microwave for just long enough... it's gotten to that point that if it gets any bigger, it will just explode into a big gooey mess. so please put the money where it is most deserving. [/rant] thank you for your cooperation.

i'm not a student, but my sister is..i'm going to see if she can get me a good deal on campus. Thanks for the suggestion. i already have illustrator, PageMill, and Photoshop but they are outdated and illegal. And since I am doing it for commercial purposes...gotta stay legal! too bad they are so dang expensive!!!!

You may want to think about buying an OLD version from someone (double check with the software company if they ok this... sometimes a purchase is for one license and cannot be transferred)... but if you get and old version for cheap, you can buy the upgrade to the newest version. For example... buy Photoshop 4.0 from some person for like $50. Buy the Photoshop 6.0 upgrade for like $129!
Sometimes stores sell old versions of software that is overstocked for a super discount. Look around. That would be the cheapest way to go... being legit. Then the student discounts.
