    X-ray screwed up my pics

I was in Cali as some of you may know for my cuz's wedding and I took some nice pics. However, with one of the rolls of film with pics on it, I put in my jacket pocket and forgot about it. I packed the jacket with the film in my suitcase and coming back from LA it went through some pretty powerful X-ray. I just developed the film and most of the pics looked over exposed. I had the film developing peeps put the pics on CD. Is there a way to fix this over exposure in Photoshop? FYI it was a 24 roll of 400 speed Kodak Max film.

if it's just fogged, then you may have a chance at fixing it photoshop depending on what kind of images were taken. (i.e. outdoors, bright sunny day? or indoors with flash and harsh lighting)

if it's been zapped by the ctx 5000 because you had something in your suitcase that the machine wanted to double check, then it's very difficult to fix in photoshop.

however, i would double check the negs. if the fogging or damage is visible in the negs, then you could start looking at photoshopping them. if it's not readily visible with the naked eye, then i would suspect the lab that processed them.... because 99 times out of a 100, it's the labs.

It's real grainy and white washed. Even the under exposed shots that I took without the flash.

I totally didn't realize it itl I got home. The funny thing was when I had to check my suitcase the guy even asked me whether I had film in there. I thought all of my film was in my carry-on and I told the guy so. Well I still have like 10 pics that were in my camera that didn't go through the powerful x-ray. However, it did go through the normal x-ray. There is a likely chance that those pics are blown to hell too but I am being optimistic about it. Hopefully the x-ray they used on the carry-on wasn't that powerful.
