For it to work, you have to click on "933 HIT CLUB", which is between "STREETS" and "COOL STUFF", then go from there to "Secret Codes" and "Artist of the Day".
Wait for today's AOD though, because that one expired.
A possible reason that the code didn't work is you may have tried to enter it as "web password". I do that all the time.
